Tell us a bit about your family.
I come from a very big family, I have 11 brothers and sisters, yes, we are a lot, but we love each other very much, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
How do you work through self-doubts and fear?
I just power through it, don’t think just do, the more you analize things the more you might end up stuck in the same place. Of course it’s important to question yourself sometimes, but you have to find the right amount of balance between self doubt and fear.
What scares you the most?
Failing as a mother, I mean, I think all mothers can relate to this, not a day goes by in which I don’t feel like I just messed up. Here are these tiny little people depending on me, and I don’t want to let them down and have them become selfish people when they grow up.
What makes you happiest?
A lot of things make me happy, I am most happy when I see my children accomplish things on their own, or when I can sit down and write something calmly, or when I just bought a new book and I am about to read the first page.
What’s your greatest character strength?
Wow, I am not very good at these kind of questions, but I guess I always try to be as compassionate as possible.
What’s your weakest character trait?
I am a chronic procrastinator, I hate it, I think I’ll do something about it….tomorrow.
Why do you write?
Writing sets me free. You can create your own world, characters, rules, everything is in your control. I love that, writing gives me control and I am a big control freak.
Have you always enjoyed writing?
Yes! Ever since I was little I used to write, I loved it, though I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be able to call myself a writer, even right now, I don’t consider myself good enough to call myself that.
What motivates you to write?
Most of the times I watch a scene play out in my head, or hear a conversation like a crazy person, I write it down when the scene repeats itself so much I know it by heart.
What writing are you most proud of?
Right now I am most proud of Sophia:Within, the first novel I started AND finished!

Only time will tell if Sophia, Alec and the world are ready to accept the mission that has been passed down for many generations. This is more than a story of reincarnation. This is a story that never ended following the reign of the Greek gods. What has been hidden for thousands of years is about to surface in a small New England town. The impact on this rural village is ageless, but only the chosen time travelers know what is happening, the reason it is happening and how to control the outcome.

The Men of Ages have walked the Earth unnoticed since the time of Greek mythology and have kept their ancient war alive by transporting the lead warrior in a most unusual time machine. There is only one way to stop the cataclysmic demise of the human race and Sophia is the answer. But, Sophia is a teenage girl faced with many human and nonhuman desires that create a tortuous path from antiquity to the present day. Love conquers all; or, so it seems.
