“I got your back”
As in Exodus 17:10–13, Joshua was getting ready to battle with Amalek, Moses got into position to pray or intercede, and as he did, so long as his hands were raised, Joshua would be winning the battle. As his arms began to fall, Joshua would begin to start losing the battle. As we know in war conflict, it’s never just a five-minute thing. We know it to be continuous.

At this point, we know Moses was getting tired, but Aaron and Hur came to the aide of Moses. They helped to continuously keep his arms lifted. In our lives, we may face great battles. As we pray or intercede for these battles, we might need to rely on a little extra help. I believe in all our lives, we can use an Aaron or Hur or both in our lives. Jesus will always be our main strength.

In Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man another.” We may get weary, but we shall not be defeated and know that we do not have to war alone. Today be someone’s Aaron so that tomorrow, they can be your Hur. Together, we can overcome the battles in our lives.

This book is a biblical perspective on how God wants us to see and get through the trials that life brings our way. It is a book of conversations and things brought to our attention that we may not always see and how through scripture God wants us to get through them.
